Job Description
Accountancy Assistant required for a Fixed term contract 9 months, (may extend to 12 month) The key task will include reconciliation of various control and subsidiary accounts, maintenance of general ledger control accounts and provision of financial advice assistance, you will also be required to assist with the preparation of revenue, budget monitoring and statutory accounts.
This position is an enthusiastic and self motivated person and enthusiastic about working in local government. You should hold a minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent (grade A-c including English and maths). you will need sound computer skills (especially excel).
My client a public sector organization in a handy location based in Bromsgrove. Organisational benefits include a flexi time scheme and up to 37 days holiday (including statutory days). Other opportunities may transpire within the business for the future.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
