Job Description
Assistant Financial Accountant required to support the finance manager with the preparation of the financial accounts at month and year end. A diverse role where duties will include all aspects of statutory reporting, VAT returns, balance sheet analysis and control, fixed assets and assisting with the audit process..
This is an excellent role for someone studying towards their AAT or CIMA/ACCA, although candidates with the relevant experience who are not actively studying will also be considered. You will ideally have some exposure to statutory reporting and will need to have a good attention to detail. Hands on experience with vat, balance sheet reconciliations and/or statutory reporting will be a distinct advantage.
A leading Nottinghamshire business operating on a global scale are looking to appoint a career focused Assistant Financial Accountant into their expanding finance operation. You will be given lots of responsibility to test and challenge you whilst being supported by a qualified accountant in a market leading organisation.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
