Job Description
Assistant Accountant required responsible for assisting in the preparation for the monthly accounts. Duties include preparing accruals and prepayments, fixed asset register, VAT Returns, BACS receipts and transfers, intercompany charges, preparing audit files and collating the relevant information.
You will need to be a career focused and aspiring finance professional looking to develop your accountancy skills in a challenging and varied role. You will ideally be studying towards your ACCA/CIMA qualification although those at AAT level will also be considered. Strong excel skills and confident personality are essential to the role.
sf group are currently recruiting on behalf of a medium sized enterprise based just outside Nottingham city centre. You will work in a well established finance department and will be supported by a qualified accountant. In return you will be given lots of responsibility and rewarded with a competitive starting salary.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
