Job Description
Our London based energy company requires an immediately available Accounts Assistant, to join our 5 strong accounts team for a 3-month temporary job. We are a long-established company in the FTSE 250 with a reputation for excellence and as such we are seeking top quality candidates who have had established accounts experience in:
Raising invoices & purchase orders
Matching, batching and coding purchase & sales invoices
Supplier statement reconciliations
Bank/Balance sheet reconciliation
Payment run preparation
Inter company transfers
Posting invoices to the system (SAP)
Liaising with suppliers to settle any issues
As such we require candidates who are:
Outgoing
Confident
Have relevant work experience (experience in the mining sector will be looked upon particularly favourably)
Able to work under their own supervision and as part of a team
Able to demonstrate thorough accounts knowledge
Able to show excellent communication skills
Comfortable with the use of SAP
The successful candidate will benefit from sociable working hours, and an attractive hourly rate. Our offices have been newly refurbished to the highest standards and the successful applicant will be working in an accounts team of 5, and reporting to a supportive FC who will give further responsibilities as appropriate.
