Job Description
My client, an international FMCG, requires a Senior Systems Analyst. Reporting to the Systems Accounting Manager the purpose of this role is to: Ensure the integrity of the finance data within SAP, and assume responsibility for SAP Security Administration.
Key accountabilities will include: responsibility for the integrity of the financial data within SAP for the Marketing business; full ownership of the SME month end systems process, including preparation of reports to SOX standards, co-ordinate the implementation of the annual budgets and re-budgets within the system, ensure that adequate segregation of duties exist by administering user access within SAP, and providing management with compliance reports; posses the technical specialism to ensure that enhancements and changes in automatic accounting flows are not only correct and thoroughly tested, but also comply with policies and standards including the corporate governance framework of SOX; assist in delivering key strategic projects.
The role holder will be expected to build and maintain strong working relationships with business and technical personnel both within and outside the finance arena; intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word; Outlook, basic Powerpoint skills are essential; basic/ intermediate knowledge of SAP or other ERP system; Ability to take personal responsibility and be proactive; must be numerically adept and well organized; good interpersonal skills essential.
