Job Description
Finance Assistant required to work within a busy finance team. Reporting directly into the supervisor you will be responsible for all aspects of the bank reconciliations. You will be collating data to prepare for the bank reconciliations and be actively matching amounts and entering them onto the system. You will also be raising discrepancies for the credit control team in order for them to chase outstanding debt. This is a temporary role with the potential to go permanent.
The successful candidate will be a self motivated person wanting to progress their career further in accounts. You will have excellent communication and IT skills. You will also be a key team player but also be able to work on your own initiative. You must be immediately available or on 1 weeks notice.
My client is a leading competitor in the finance industry. Based in Nottingham they are easily accessible by public transport links and also offer onsite parking for employees. The working hours are 9-5.30 with 1 hour for lunch. This is an excellent opportunity to gain more valuable experience.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
