Job Description
Assistant Accountant required to support the Financial Controller with the preparation of the monthly accounts and reporting for the board. Duties include accruals and prepayments, fixed assets, vat returns, bank recs, petty cash and overseeing and taking a hands on approach with journals and all the ledger function.
You will be qualified by experience or maybe AAT qualified and/or studying towards your ACCA/CIMA qualification. You will need to have a strong appreciation for monthly accounting practices and will be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work. This is a very hands on role and will suit someone who enjoys a varied role.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounts professional to join a well established Nottinghamshire based business. Your role will be play an integral part in the ongoing success of the finance function and you will be supported by a qualified accountant and will receive a competitive starting salary.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
