Job Description

Purchase Ledger Clerk required to join a busy team of 5. Your main duties will include matching, batching and coding invoices, entering them on to the system, carrying out supplier statement reconciliations, making BACS and cheque payments, dealing with foreign currencies, matching invoices to the GRNs, auditing the files and filing.
As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be well organised, experience din working in a high volume environment (our team process approx. 5000 invoices per month), committed, able to multi task and a strong team player. This is a year-long contract, therefore you should be able to commit for this period.
Our client is the market leader in its field employing over 50,000 people worldwide. The UK head office is based out of Leicester and they are inviting the suitable candidate to join this successful and well established organisation based within easy access of the city centre and major road links.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
