Job Description
Senior HR Officer required to work within a large HR department reporting into a HR Manager. You will be responsible for all employee relations, policies and procedures, employment law and best practice, attend hearings, assist with preparation of appeals and employment tribunals. You will also meet with Trade Unions as part of the consultation process and deal with redundancy's as appropriate. You will also take part in any necessary projects.
The successful candidate will be immediately available or have a very short notice period (maximum two weeks). You will ideally be CIPD qualified or near completion of this qualification. You will have a strong background as a HR Advisor or Manager and be used to working in a fast paced environment. A social services background would be extremely beneficial. This is a 12 month contract. You will ideally have a background in change management and restructures as an added benefit.
My client is currently going through business transformation and need a very string driven candidate for a 1 year contract. The candidate will also have responsibility for a HR Officer and must be available to work at very short notice. They have an excellent benefits package.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
