Job Description
Human Resources Officer required to assist the Area HR Manager and Senior HR Officers in the development and application of employee relations policies and procedures. You will also provide support, advice and guidance to managers, supervisors and employees on aspects of employment law and will be involved in the assessment and implementation of legislative requirements and ensure accurate and consistent advice is given to managers and staff on aspects of the HR portfolio. You will have involvement in grievances, disciplinaries, complaints and investigations by providing the Managers with advice.
To be suitable for this role, you must be at least part CIPD qualified, fully CIPD qualified would be extremely beneficial as would having a social services background. You must have a strong background in all areas of HR, with particular emphasis in the field of employee relations and also have strong experience in advising and assisting mangers in all aspects of employment. You must have knowledge and understanding of disciplinaries and grievances, as well as sickness absence policies. You must have the ability to liaise and consult effectively with other managers and directorates.
