Job Description
Due to a imminent system change, this business requires a Purchase Ledger clerk to assist with the projected backlog initially for a period of 4 weeks. Reporting into the Purchase Ledger Manager your main duties will include; Processing backdated invoices, dealing with supplier queries, matching, batching and coding invoices. As well as helping out with other ad-hoc administration duties where needed.
You must be IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE, and be able to provide a minimum of 2 referees. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of the complete Purchase Ledger role, ideally have used either the SAP system or another well known accountancy package. You will also enjoy working to deadlines and targets, and enjoy working as part of a focused team.
This business is currently going through a period of change and the main phase of this, the system change, is about to be introduced. This is an excellent opportunity to increase your experience, and reputation within a company that inevitably will be looking to recruit permanent staff in the future.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
