Job Description
The firm are looking to recruit a senior who will be able to plan, run and complete audits of all sizes, looking after and supervising a team of typically 1-3 staff, for a mix of clients.
The successful applicant would need to be able to confidently run an audit from start to finish with turnovers of £10m+, already be familiar with ISA'S and UKGAAP and supervise their team during the audit. The Partners expect their audit seniors to take full ownership of each audit they senior.
Advancement within the firm is a very real opportunity and is wholly dependent on the individual wanting to progress and proving themselves.
The portfolio of clients includes a mix of corporate, charity, pension and professional practice clients. There are a number of well known, high profile organisations and in addition there are also many traditional OMB's, subsidiaries of listed group audit clients and groups requiring consolidations.
There is occasionally the opportunity to be involved in other ad hoc assignments such as due diligence work. Typically all seniors would be involved in Corporate audit work and will be involved in one to two other areas of specialism eg Charities.

The Ideal Candidate
Typically the ideal candidate would be newly or recently qualified, but must have experience of running audits and supervising audit teams on site. Anyone looking to gain more complex and varied audit work with a view to progressing within the audit department would suit the role perfectly.
