Job Description

A long established and respected firm of chartered accountants based in rural Surrey are looking to appoint a Personal Tax Manager. Based in Godalming (Surrey) the role is to be responsible for a portfolio of clients and will report directly to a partner. The tax department acts for a variety of clients including partnerships and high net worth individuals and duties will be to manage a portfolio of clients, including developing a good relationship with them; to identify tax planning opportunities, including estate planning and mitigation of inheritance tax and use of trusts and to assist partners and staff in quoting for new work, including identifying specification and time costs involved. Applicants will have personal tax experience and be technically competent with either the ATT or CTA. It is possible that applicants without professional qualifications but with excellent experience will be considered.
