Job Description

Job details: Company Credit Controller

·        Chasing debts by telephone, letter and email

·        Managing 100+ live accounts including some key accounts

·        Query resolution (including raising and posting credit notes)

·        Ensuring correct invoice and customer details are set up to ensure payments are not delayed

·        Liaising internally with project managers to assist with resolving queries

·        Opening new accounts and credit checking

·        Preparing files with correct information to pass over to debt collection agency / legal

·        Aged debt reporting including commentary for Directors / Board

·        Developing the credit control procedures (In line with the Group Credit Manager)

·        Providing guidance to staff from other regions related to credit control

·        Preparing banking on a daily basis

·        Posting cash to the sales ledger on a daily basis

·        Reconciling cash receipts to a strict deadline at the month end

Skills / Experience required:

Credit Control experience essential

Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)

Team player

Assertive

Self motivate

Accuracy and attention to detail

Salary guide £22,000 - £25,000

Hours 9-5.30pm, 1 hour for lunch

20 days holiday + 3 days at Christmas
