Job Description
This leading independent firms of accountants, taxation and business advisors aim is to offer small and medium sized businesses a comprehensive range of specialist support and advisory services as and when required. As an audit accounts senior you can be responsible for your own initial portfolio of clients, resulting in a role, which can offer variety and challenges and will allow you to progress your career as quickly as you wish.
Duties of the role will include:
· Accounts and audit preparation
· Initial review on certain jobs
· Supervision and feedback of junior members of staff
· Communication with clients will be of a high standard
· Identify tax information and liasing with tax department
· General ad hoc duties

The firm offers competitive salaries for the York market and has an excellent record of promoting within hence long-term career opportunities are excellent.
Ideally you will be an ACA or ACCA near or newly qualified candidate with 2 years practice experience and at least 1 years audit experience. You will typically be dealing with clients with a turnover of between £1million and £30million. The role will also include preparation of statutory accounts, corporation tax computations and ad-hoc assistance
