Forecasting & Management reporting
· Co-ordination of P&L forecasts/budget financials on the profit and loss, and liaise with the finance and operating team to provide commentary and analysis
· Co-ordination and prepare monthly financials
· Prepare month end reporting on baking P&L, via liaison with other Commercial Accountants, including
Business Partner support Marketing
· Regular reporting of Marketing financial performance, both actual and forecast
· Provision of monthly, quarterly and annual forecast information and budget information to enable the business to understand the expected financial position.
· Support to the brand planning process.
· Support to the planning process, working with commercial finance team
· Ad-hoc analytical & financial support for the Marketing team.
Business Partner support HR
· Regular reporting of cost performance
· Provision of monthly, quarterly and annual forecast information and budget information to enable the business to understand the expected financial position.
· Ad-hoc analytical & financial support for the HR team.
Other
· Support to the Business Analysis Finance Manager.
Desirable
· Experience in working in a commercial environment
· FMCG experience
· Working knowledge of management accounting techniques
· Ambition to progress to a more senior finance role.
Essential
· Part-Qualified CIMA or desire to gain CIMA qualification.
· Degree educated and highly numerate.
· Highly IT literate with advanced Excel (or equivalent) skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to analyse & interpret data
· Strong attention to detail
