Job Description
My client, a renowned IT solutions provider based in Reading, seeks a Part Qualified Accountant to joins its revenue Accounting team as a Revenue Analyst.
This exciting role is to work as part of a team ensuring that the company reports revenue in a timely manner and in adherence with US GAAP. Whilst previous experience in a Revenue Accounting function or software organisations would be highly regarded the client is also keen to consider enthusiastic individuals who demonstrate the drive required to succeed in this increasingly important area of Finance!
Candidate attributes:
- Part Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA
- Strong communication skills
- Advanced Excel
- Enthusiasm and the drive to learn and develop
This high profile role would suit someone who is able to hit the ground running in busy environment. You will enjoy managing the challenging of changing priorities and workloads and demonstrate the ability to think on your feet. You will possess first class communication skills and the motivation to work in a cross functional role as well as strong Analytical and Excel skills.
Main duties of the role:
- Management monthly revenue reconciliation processes to ensure data consistency
- Identify exceptions to revenue recognition policies and process necessary adjustments
- Ensure consistency of revenue flows from order processing through to billings and develop associated reports
- Liaise with sales and finance departments to monitor KPIs and associates rebate / commission payments
- Involvement in ad hoc projects
