Job Description

Our client, a long established financial organisation, is seeking a Trainee Financial Consultant to work from home and cover the Bristol area. You must hold a minimum of Part 1 of the FPC or equivalent and have relevant experience within a face to face sales role.

Our client is a long established organisation which has been providing holistic financial planning advice to high net worth individuals for over 100 years. The company is now seeking to recruit a Trainee Financial Consultant to work from home and cover the Bristol area. The position will involve drawing up business plans for achieving sales and profit targets in the full range of products and services, agreeing them with the Area Manager. Targeting business opportunities within the hospital doctors market, planning and carrying out an appropriate level of customer contact, taking account of market opportunities, product features and customer preferences using self generated leads. Carrying out regular reviews of performance compared to targets and presenting plans to address shortfalls to the Area Manager. Making initial contact with the customer through activity undertaken by the Contact Centre, promotional activity, personal introductions and networking. You will be responsible for carrying out full financial appraisals. Identifying shortfalls and recommending options to resolve them.

Applicant Requirements
Applicants applying for this vacancy must as a minimum requirement hold part 1 of the FPC (or equivalent) and have gained previous relevant experience of working within a face to face sales role. A training programme will be provided to support you in attaining the qualifications and experience that you will need to become a high performing Financial Consultant. A starting salary of 30,000 per annum (rising to 35,000 on full attainment of qualifications), uncapped bonus, company pension, company car and full home office set up will be provided.
