Job Description
Our client is a government department based in the heart of London. With strong links to their sister department the finance function of both require a finance manager to oversee the accounts staff in both offices. This will require an adaptable candidate who is able to split their week between both departments. You will be required to collate all management information, reports and accounts and relay to the board on a monthly basis.
You will report to a Head of Corporate Services and be the main senior finance contact for both departments. Offices of both finance functions are based only 5 minutes apart so does not require any travel.
This role will suit a hands on accountant who also has supervisory experience, you will be qualified by experience or hold a CCAB qualification. You will be immediately available, flexible, adaptable and a very hands on accountant with an ability to direct and mentor junior finance staff.
