Job Description

Leading FTSE 100 energy group based in Canary Wharf have a fantastic opportunity within their Oil Europe and Finance Team for the Global Options book. You will be responsible for ensuring that potentially high-risk trading activities are conducted within a robust framework of control. This will primarily involve reporting and monitoring trading exposures as well as producing daily profit & loss and other control processes to ensure the integrity of management information. A large part of the role will involve liaison with the traders, though the job will provide a broad exposure to all aspects of trading activities and hence will provide and excellent grounding to progress further within the group. This is a unique development opportunity for a high calibre qualified accountant to contribute to the growth strategy of this market leader. You will have a strong understanding of trading activities with an emphasis on derivative instruments, and a strong understanding of options and derivatives is a pre-requisite.
