Job Description
Our client is an independent practice, long established in the East Midlands and offering a capable Semi Senior or Senior practice accountant a rewarding and varied accountancy job.
Duties may include the following:
- Accounts production for a variety of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Final accounts preparation.
- Production of Profit & Loss Accounts and Balance Sheet accounts.
- Fixed assets and calculation of depreciation.
- Dealing with acquisitions and disposals.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Bookkeeping to trial balance stage.
- VAT returns preparation.
- General office administration Competence in using a variety of accounting software packages including IRIS, Quickbooks, Sage Payroll, VT Transactions and Sage Line 50
Full external study support through a recognised provider is offered and a complete internal training package is available
At least 2 years experience within a professional practice is required for this role
ACA, ACCA or AAT studiers or qualified professionals will be considered
