Job Description

My client a major Global Group based in Luton currently have an opportunity in their Head Office for someone who is interested to work in a parent company environment. Ideally a Part Qualified or early stages studier with at least 1 years practical experience the role reports to the Group Financial Accountant and will include the following duties; preparation of the group VAT returns; assisting with the Head Office management accounts; assisting with the preparation of the annual corporation tax returns and statutory accounts; other ad hoc group projects. The role would suit a part qualified accountant who would like to expand their knowledge into these more technical areas. The role, however, does not require any particular in-depth knowledge of either VAT or Corporation Tax as there will be on-the-job training together with the opportunity to carry out formal training, if so desired. Advanced Excel would be an advantage.
