Job Description

Busy digital advertising agency based in The Docklands urgently requires a management accountant to join their friendly team for a 10 month maternity cover assignment, starting in early January. You duties will include assisting the Financial Controller in producing the projections and budgets for 2008/9, accruals, prepayments, analysing the sales and marketing figures, financial analysis, creating simple financial models using excel, performing the year end close in June, and being the first P.O.C. for a team of 5 purchase and sales ledger clerks. You need to be a confident accountant with experience in a similar, busy vibrant environment, preferably within media. You should be part qualified in CIMA or equivalent and have several years relevant experience. Knowledge of DDS or Maconomy is preferred.
