Job Description

A leading FTSE 100 telecommunications, is seeking a highly commercial, finance professional to work on the largest IT programme in the UK and also in a £multi million systems integration programme. Working as part of the management team your responsibilities will include: · Partnering with the Project Delivery Managers, analysing financial data· Identifying budget variances and identifying causes, recommending improvements to Operational Mangers· Driving the business to engage the coordinating and pricing of new business work· Working with all areas of the Programme to challenge costing for new business work and to present to customer.· Business planning and forecasting· Preparation of project budget pack for Senior Management With previous project/programme accounting experience a person who can operate in a complex environment is required. Demonstrable experience of identifying budget variances and causes that lead to areas of action being implemented. Large budget experience is useful.
