Job Description
The ideal candidate will need to build and sustain key relationships across the organisation, especially with wholesale managers and central finance strategy and risk teams, through trust and developing an understanding of the issues concerning them.
Candidates who can bring a mix of the following skills and competencies are required:
- Part-qualified accountant or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years experience, ideally within a financial environment.
- Well developed skills in Excel Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience of budgeting, forecasting, month-end accounting and producing clear commentaries and recommendations for action.
- Ability to work with line managers, providing financial analysis and advice, to enable them to develop a clearer understanding of, and to be able to account for, the financial performance of their area.
- Oracle financial and Hyperion are desirable but not advantageous.
