Job Description
Job Title: Part time Accounts Assistant / Semi Senior Job Location: Westbury
A varied and enjoyable job based within a small firm in Westbury. Due to maternity leave a 12 month assignment has arisen to cover. The role is available for 3 days a week over the course of the year. The role will involve preparing accounts to trial balance, bookkeeping running payroll and dealing with VAT matters. The accounts and payroll is run through Quickbooks.
The start date is flexible although mid November is ideal as far as the employer is concerned as that still allows several weeks for a good handover to take place to ensure a smooth transition.
You will run 50-60 fairly simple payrolls, the majority of which are monthly, with a small number that are weekly. The accounts will be prepared for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
Skills :
You will have experience of preparing accounts to trial balance, as well as have experience of dealing with both VAT and payroll. Experience of Quickbooks is very attractive but not essential.
