Job Description
Harvey John are exclusive agents for leading manufacturing company based near Uckfield. They are looking for an Assistant Accountant who will be responsible for month end preparation.
Duties include
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Supervision of three staff (one direct & two indirect)
* Inputting journals
* Job costing production
* Overseeing the purchase ledger function
* File VAT and other statutory returns
This role is to work for medium size privately owned business. The role requires somebody who has a good technical understand of accounts to trail balance. Ideally a candidate should be AAT qualified but this is not essential. This role will offer progression for the right candidate.
