Job Profile
The purpose of the role is to lead, motivate and develop a claims team of up to 12 members, to achieve excellent performance standards that delight customers and meet business targets. Involves production and analysis of daily, weekly and monthly management information to focus on continuous improvement, coaching team members to achieve individual targets and career aspirations, in addition to closely monitoring individual efficiency, quality and conduct, effectively challenging and improving underperformance, recognising and encouraging good performance. The jobholder will develop a team culture that values innovative thinking to improve the efficiency of the claims handling process.

Applicant Requirements
Experience in claims handling is desirable for prospective applicants as well as evidence of being able to lead, motivate and develop others. Applicants should be educated to A Level standard or equivalent. Should possess understanding and ability to apply process management techniques and knowledge of SOX and FSA requirements. Should be PC literate, possess a good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point). Ideally will be a people person, a strong team player, be self motivated and achievement orientated and have good task planning skills with systematic, thorough and logical approach to task completion.
