Job Description
Our client, a manufacturing company, are looking to recruit an experienced Cost Accountant. Key responsibilities will include:
- Understanding of standard costing systems within manufacturing environment.
- A keen problem solver who can interpret as well as present accounting data and identify root causes within the organisation.
- Working knowledge of all disciplines of the accounts function.
- Understanding of budgeting and forecasting techniques in manufacturing environment
- Advanced spreadsheet modelling skills (budgeting/forecasting models). Extensive working knowledge of excel essential.
- Communicating accounting concepts and principles to non-accountants
The client is seeking somebody who has strong costings knowledge, gained within a manufacturing or engineering environment who will be able to step right into the role. A good grounding in accounts is also needed.
