Job Description
Our client a global financial services group are looking for Data Migration Project Manager to contribute to the migration of a business from one technology infrastructure to another within their wealth management division.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a team of business and technical analysts who have responsibility to deliver the data migration work stream. Your responsibilities will include owning and/or supporting the scope and approach to the Data Migration workstream, including the overall migration approach (big bang or smaller tranches), dress rehearsal approach, archive approach and scalability test approach. You will also be responsible for creating the workstream plan based on the above taking into account dependencies with other workstreams. You will also be responsible for, Facilitating the delivery of Data Migration utilities by the existing clients development capability, Managing the dependencies with other workstreams e.g. KYC, escalating progress issues and providing status reporting to the UK Ltd Programme Manager, Steering Committees.
Candidates should have experience in Project Management of Data migration process's (books and records, settlement, portfolio management and performance, cash management) or similar ideally from within a wealth/asset management environment. Strong project management methodologies are a prerequisite.
