Job Description
The role will be based in London although travel to other offices and European branches may be necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare expense reporting and monthly variance analysis
- Calculate monthly accruals and prepayments for UK and branches
- To provide a review, trend analysis and support to the group consolidation process
- To ensure the highest standard on controls and processes are maintained.
- To take full responsibility for the management and reconciliations of the branch and consolidated balance sheets.
- Provide risk program of balance sheet accounts and outstanding reconciliations
- Preparation of IPT and HMRC (VAT) returns for submission
- UK Expense budgets Upload into accounting system and monthly reporting against actual.
- Reporting on consolidated expenses including UK.
- Report on internal service fees and coordinate annual review.
- To ensure controls and processes are relevant and communicated explicitly to all European finance staff and strictly adhered to.
- To work within tight monthly and quarterly deadlines
- To work closely with European branches regarding the management and settlement of inter-company transactions & balances
- To continually and proactively seek improvements in key areas of responsibility
Experience requirements:
·Graduate calibre and/or studier CIMA or ACCA
·Good analysing and reasoning skills
·Demonstrate experience of working to tight deadlines ·
- Experience in preparing financial statements·
