Job Description
An amazing job opportunity for a Management accountant with proven cost accountant experience has opened up with one of Readings most respected employers. This large international company is well know for career progression and taking great care to nurture and develop new employees.
This role will sit within group finance and as well as providing management accounts information will manage three direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production of monthly and other periodic management reporting, including analysis of variances
- Improve initiative in data quality, availability and efficiency of production
- Supervise the activity of three direct reports
- Preparation of G&A and capital expenditure budgets and forecasts
- Maintenance of the SAP cost allocation process
- Ensure compliance of internal controls
- Co-ordinate the annual review by external auditors and independent consultants of corporate cost allocation and time writing
- Lead, contribute or be part of a team working on various finance and cross functional improvements to G&A reporting
Skills:
- Accountancy qualification
- Self motivating and proactive individual able to work independently and as part of a team
- Credibility at a senior management level
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate team members
- Strong communication skills
- Strong management reporting and budgeting experience
- Previous use of SAP / BW and Cognos or similar ERP systems
- Prior experience of cost recovery and allocation processes within a large organisation would be very beneficial
