Accounts Assistant
Manchester
£17,500 Plus Benefits including Death in Service Benefit, Personal Accident Cover, Healthcare, Non-Contributory Pension
Our client is the world leading provider of pricing systems for retail and wholesale fuels. Working with the oil and gas, convenience, grocery and big-box retail industry sectors, their staff have over 100 years of expertise, ensuring their unrivalled reputation. An opportunity has now arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, and applying your proven experience, in this role you will be responsible for a range of duties including accounts payable for both UK and US operations, bank transactions and reconciliations, accounting for all fixed asset movements, and prepayments and accruals.
You will also assist with producing sales invoices and sales ledger reporting, as well as supporting the preparation of monthly financial accounts, and helping the Financial Controller to meet the objectives of finance function.
To succeed as the Accounts Assistant you will have previous commercial experience in a similar position, and proficiency using the MS Office suite.
