Job Description

UK's leading specialist insurer for motor trade seeks an Insurance Assistant to work from their Wakefield office.

Job Profile
As an Insurance Assistant you will hold responsibility for liaising with clients both over the telephone and face to face, identifying client’s insurance needs and requirements. You will give relevant product advice and obtain full and accurate information. You will provide accurate quotations and work towards targets. You will set up new business, record payments both manually and computerised, analyse premiums debited/credited and reconcile premiums banked. You will also handle policy adjustments, issue policy documents, and process renewal terms and conditions.

Applicant Requirements
It is essential when applying for this position that you have suitable motor underwriting or broking experience. You will have excellent negotiation and communication skills and be able to liaise at all levels with customers both over the telephone and face to face. The ability to work under pressure and on own initiative is essential.
