Job Description
Hays Banking is currently recruiting for an Area Manager to join a leading top tier retail-banking organisation to cover Sussex & Hampshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a successful area retail manager to drive performance across the coast. The role is an immediate opening and commands an excellent basic salary with most area managers earning 50% bonus.
Within this role you will be responsible for leading, managing and coaching a team of Branch Managers to achieve and exceed area objectives across a variety of benchmarks, whilst proactively taking steps to grow the business though building relationships with other sectors of the business.
By providing leadership, direction, motivation, coaching and support to team you will maximise business performance and ensure that relationships with customers are strengthened.
As a Area Manager you will be accountable for meeting targets in the following areas:
• Service
• Income
• Risk
• People
• Implementing change effectively
• Adherence to regulatory requirements
Skills:
- Significant experience and proven track record of managing teams to exceed targets across various disciplines
- An in depth knowledge/awareness of financial services and the banking industry
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills
- Experience in managing personal performance against Management Information
- A passion for exceeding expectations
