Job Description
Interim Group Tax Manager required for this leading FTSE 250 Energy Services business, operating worldwide and the group revenue is in excess of £600m for year end 2007. The role will be based in their city-centre Glasgow head quarters. This role will report into the Group Treasurer and is responsible for the global tax affairs of the group. This business is continuing to experience a period of growth, with growing presence in the emerging markets of Africa/ Asia/ Latin America. Initially a 3-6 month interim assignment, our client is also looking to recruit on a permanent basis.
You will have experience in the following areas;
· Strong UK and international corporate tax experience, gained from working in a fast-moving truly multinational business
· About 50% of the role will be to oversee the group compliance and to manage a small team regional tax managers based in Glasgow, the US and the Middle-East
· You will be a self-starter, adaptable and pragmatic - able to deal with a growing business
· As cross-border tax issues are growing in their emerging markets, you will have have experience of such cross-border tax issues
Salary c£80-100,000pa + excellent benefits + bonus - temporary rate dependent on experience
