Job Description
A Treasury Manager is required to head up a new team responsible for cash and FX management services to the funds.
In this role you will be responsible for development of an end to end treasury management strategy and process which maximises revenue generation for the funds at an acceptable level of risk, with a particular focus on liquidity and FX management.
This will involve working across different geographies and external service providers. You will also ensure all liquidity, interest rates and FX risks are monitored, measured and risk managed within agreed guidelines and in compliance with the funds' investment parameters. You will also be responsible for performance of daily operations treasury management for the various funds including money market and FX dealing activity. Further you will supervise and develop junior members of the treasury team and provide guidance to senior management on all banking, cashflow, hedging and FX issues.
As the successful candidate, you must have extensive knowledge of treasury products used in the financial sector. You will be a member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers and/or have extensive experience within a treasury function. Dual execution experience on all money market and FX products and experience of fund management operation are preferable but not essential.
You must be a good communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels including board level. Some team management or supervision experience is essential as the successful candidate will be expected to grow the team in the near future.
