Job Profile
Broker Account Technician sought to provide a telephone based sales and servicing facility, dealing with new business, renewals and all queries. The role will entail the promotion of the company to existing and potential Brokers. Duties will include contacting Brokers, providing quotations and information, handling sales campaigns, demonstrating a good knowledge of competitor products, selling the company/products over the telephone, identifying Broker needs and preparing sales activity report.

Applicant Requirements
Candidates must have a proven experience within the insurance market with a good knowledge of the market in general and how it operates. Strong knowledge of relevant products, services and processes, strong organisation skills and ability to act on own initiative are required. Looking for a professional approach, good telephone manner and the ability to communicate effectively both face to face and over the telephone. Candidates must be self motivated, keen to develop and acquire new skills/knowledge, be educated to A level or equivalent and progressing towards IFC.
