Job Description
Our client is one of the UK’s leading consultancies specialising in company pension schemes, employee benefits, actuarial advice, investment consulting and financial planning services for corporate clients and individuals. They are looking for an individual with at least FPC2 to their name and ideally a background that includes working for an IFA in a support capacity, with knowledge of a variety of individual product lines. You would be working within a team of seven and assist the Consultants on a daily basis in all aspects of investment, protection and pension business. The key tasks include the following:
• Timely preparation of regular valuations and obtaining ad hoc valuations.
• Submitting new business proposals and following these through to completion.
• Inputting, updating and maintaining the 1st software system
• Assisting with client requests, queries and general client correspondence.
• Liaising with investment / assurance companies.
• Obtaining quotations.
• Recording and diarising all work on 1st and reviewing on a daily basis.
You need to possess good problem solving skills, the ability to monitor and prioritise workloads, sound letter writing skills, enthusiasm and good communication skills.
