Job Description
This Top Tier Investment Bank is looking for a business analyst to work on the implementation of interface technology between the local front to back office systems and strategic global general ledger system.
Collectively, from Local Markets perspective, the overall objective is to deliver well controlled, automated interface solutions between the local systems and the general ledger so that the ledger will become the single source system to support Group reporting and Local reporting where possible. The future system architecture aims to reduce or eliminate the existing manual processes/activities by increasing the level of automation and standardisation.
As the business analyst you will liaise with current users and other areas to determine project requirements, produce functional specifications and define the accounting configuration for systems. You will work closely with the front office IT and finance IT on system solution design, and co-ordinate use acceptance testing and implementation. Other responsibilities include preparing test plans; perform system testing and co-ordinate migration testing.
You will ideally be a strong business analyst with a background in financial or product control from an investment banking environment. You will have experience of working on systems related projects and have good knowledge of FX and money markets.
