Job Description

Our client is a privately owned property company. They are the UK arm of a well-established property group with a worldwide portfolio valued at over £10bn. The UK subsidiary has a significant portfolio of landmark properties in the City, Central London and elsewhere in the UK. They have built a very strong reputation for investment management and property services and are actively pursuing growth opportunities. They now seek a Project Accountant to take reporting responsibility over projects in their European fund. The role is based in Central London. You will perform all accounting and control functions for these fund projects, working closely with project directors. You will prepare reporting packs for the funds and parent company. You will monitor cashflows and expenditures and perform reconciliations, have responsibility for fund drawing, liquidity monitoring and accounts payable. You will report to and work closely with the Financial Controller and will also have responsibility over specific accounting functions for the wider UK entity. You will have a recognised accountancy qualification and 2-3 years` PQE. You will have strong technical and systems skills combined with the initiative and drive to take on an increasing amount of responsibility in an exciting and challenging environment. Property experience is essential.
