Job Description
This role incorporates monitoring JDE for errors and integrity issues. Resolving problems raised by internal and external business users, with specific responsibility for Inter-Company, Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliation. Supporting centrally run monthly and annual Management Accounting processes. Provide support for Inter-company process in Hyperion for the Group. Documenting new procedures and the maintenance of existing ones. Performing ad hoc queries via MS Access or SQL, on JDE database tables. Running reports via MS Access or SQL, on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
The successful applicant will be a Part qualified CIMA or full AAT qualified accountant with demonstrable experience in an Accounting environment. Understanding of database structures and ability to extract information direct from database tables using MS Access and SQL are essential skills. As well as this, knowledge of JDE One World, and, or, Hyperion experience would be a great benefit. Finally, attention to detail, being a logical thinker, and the focus to learn quickly are characteristics crucial to a successful appointment with this business
