Job Description
Assistant Accountant required urgently for a maternity cover. The duties of this Assistant Accountant role will include assisting in the production of management accounts, year end accounts, budgets, cash flow as well as balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining the fixed asset register and VAT returns.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background working within an accounts department. Experience of accounts preparation and balance sheet control account reconciliations is essential. It is advantageous to have excellent excel skills. You must have excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with all levels across the business.
My client is based on the outskirts of Derbyshire and are looking for an individual to commit to a minimum of nine months. My client offer the individual an excellent opportunity to gain further experience within the finance department. They are easily accessible from the East Midlands and offer free car parking based on site.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
