Job Description
Our client is a FTSE 100 company who's vision is to become a leading company in their chosen markets, committed to delivering top quartile shareholder returns. With operations in the UK, North America and Western Europe, they are a global organisation who are focussed on growth and profitability.
The Business Assurance team plays a key control and governance role within the Group through the provision of independent assurance as to the effective operation of controls over core processes and activities. The role will be responsible for the planning and performance of a series of financial and operational audit reviews covering a wide range of business areas.
The reviews should also include identification of areas of good practice together with recommendations for the improvement in the underlying control environment. You will be a qualified accountant, ideally Big 4 trained, with a strong understanding of operational and financial risk. It is essential that you possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work with autonomy as well as part of a team. Internal audit experience is preferred, however exceptional candidates looking to move from one of the Big 4 may be considered.
Occasional international will be required but should equate to less than 10% of your time. Rapid career progression opportunities exist for driven individuals.
