Job Description
Based in close proximity to London Bridge.
Key Duties include:
- Credit control, ensuring bad debts/slow payers are kept to a minimum by targeting clients and agents in accordance with credit control procedures.
- Responsible for circa 400 accounts
- Chasing premiums up to £2m
- Ensuring the accurate and timely allocation of payments and receipts and responding to all incoming correspondence
- Able to work well on own initiative as well as being part of a successful Accounts team
- Be able to priorities and organise own workload to ensure deadlines are adhered to
- Be able to establish and maintain relationships with clients
- Be able to liaise with colleagues and work supportively and jointly where appropriate
- Be able to liaise directly with internal technical departments to facilitate the resolution of more complex enquires
- Be able to communicate clearly and efficiently in an appropriate business manner
- To actively seek to improve own skills
- To be familiar with and be confident in using general office PC software
