Job Description
Accounts Assistant required immediately on a temporary to permanent trial. General day to day administration and maintenance of records for the Accounts Department, working alongside the Accounts Manager. Tasks, duties and responsibilities will include posting transactions to Sage, checking bank transactions online, producing accounts slips for daily transactions, making cheque payments, nominal ledger input, processing purchase invoices, producing sales invoices, credit control, preparing post for collection and any other tasks issued by the Accounts Manager.
You must be able to work on own initiative and ideally have experience of Sage. The job holder has the opportunity to develop his/her self within the organisation and every support will be given to this end. Ideally you will have worked within a similar position and have a good understanding of accounts procedures and accounting IT systems.
My client is located in Halesfield Telford and offers a friendly working environment. Onsite parking is available, most importantly they are looking for a friendly person to join their team
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
