Job Description

Key Duties:

- Maintaining an effective control environment over the company's accounting function including control over the accuracy and integrity of the (P/L, S/L, cashbook) Microsoft Dynamics GP accounting ledgers.
- Responsible for production of timely and accurate Monthly Management Accounts
- Timely reporting and interpretation of Management Accounts.
- Co-ordinating with external auditors to achieve the timely production of draft statutory financial statements.
- Management of monthly payment cycle.
- Responsibility for credit control.
- On time submission of compliance returns and enquiries to the HM Revenue & Customs for corporation tax, PAYE and NIC matters (including PSA, P11D's).
- On time submission of VAT returns and responses to enquiries from HMCE.
- Management of the sales order processing function.
- Providing the business team with comprehensive financial support and commercial advice to assist the management team in making effective business decisions.
- Management of the finance team including responsibility for the annual appraisal process.
- Assisting in the production of Budgets and working capital forecasts.
