Job Description

Working for a leading accountancy practice the role of Trust & Estate Accounts/Tax Senior will assist in managing a portfolio of Trust and Estate Accounts and tax return ensuring an efficient and cost effective service is provided to clients. Based in the Tunbridge Wells (Kent) office key duties will include planning, prepare and complete accounts to final review stage ensuring departmental targets are achieved; complete tax returns for designated clients ensuring standard procedures are adhered to and to manage the Trust/Estate accounts on a day to day basis ensuring that trustees can be advised of the distribution of income and investment of capital. The ideal candidate would need an accounts qualification such as AAT, ACA or ACCA and some accounts experience as well as Trusts experience maybe studying towards or would like to study towards STEP. Applicants will have experience gained in a similar role for a firm of chartered accountants and see this is a progressive step in their career or possibly newly qualified in audit and may want a change to move into tax!
