Job Description
They are currently recruiting for a Senior Credit Controller to oversee the maintenance of two of the group ledgers. You will be responsible for maximising the output of one member of staff and reporting directly into the Financial Controller.
Key duties include:
- Supervision of one member in the Credit Control function.
- Maximising collections whilst maintaining strong customer relations.
- Raising and send out invoices.
- Ensuring the receipt of circa 3500 direct debits monthly, and duly investigating non-payments.
- Chasing debtors via phone, fax and e-mail.
- Dealing with extensive billing and payment queries efficiently and effectively.
- Sending out account statements.
- Escalation of non-payments to litigation and overseeing the litigation process.
- Credit checking new customers and applying credit terms as appropriate.
- Monthly closure of the sales ledger.
- Reporting on the sales ledger for use by management. In order for your application to be successful you will need to demonstrate proven experience in a Senior Credit Control environment.
