Job Description

A leading investment bank is looking for an assistant accountant to join their management information and expenses control team in London. You will be working with the business to manage transactions and reporting requirements and will be supporting senior managers in owning management accounting processes. You will be involved with expenses reporting, preparation of monthly contractor accruals, prepayments for life and health insurance and various monthly recharges. You will also be using the Peoplesoft ledger and doing inter company reconciliations and will be reporting to the head of the department.



The ideal candidate will possess:



A strong education to BSc level and would have started their ACCA/CIMA
Experience with expenses reporting at a financial/non-financial institution
A real drive to work in the field and progress within the company
Excellent communication skills
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office, with emphasis on Excel


You must display strong commercial acumen and desire to work in the financial sector. Strong attention to detail is a must. Position can lead to product control and risk opportunities. Excellent salary and benefit package is on offer.
